In addition to his publishing role at Random House, David Ebershoff is the author of The Danish Girl and The Rose City. The Danish Girl won the Rosenthal Foundation Award from the American Academy of Arts & Letters and the Lambda Literary Award. His latest work, Pasadena, a novel, will be released by Random House in the summer of 2002. David is a visiting lecturer in fiction writing at Princeton, and lives in New York City.

Martha Levin joined Simon & Schuster last April to expand the Free Press’s serious nonfiction lines to include literary fiction and other works. As publisher, she is responsible for every aspect of the publishing process: what the Free Press buys, publishes, how the house promotes, publicizes, how the books look, and what books get reprinted.

Michael Seidman is a veteran New York editor who oversaw Walker & Company’s crime line for more than a decade until January 2002 when Walker closed the line. Michael continues to serve as an editorial consultant for the Company.
