England CFO,

Replacing Judd

NEW YORK, NY/11/7/03—David England has been named CFO of Simon & Schuster to replace SAM Judd who is leaving the company. England joins S&S from UPN. Both S&S and UPN are owned by Viacom.

The new appointment will change the chain of command with Joe D’Onofrio, manager of the publisher’s supply chain, now reporting to S&S CEO Jack Romanos. He previously reported to the CFO. Anne Lloyd, CIO who formerly reported to Romanos, now reports to the new CFO.
