Sarah McGrath, one of the most esteemed editors in publishing, and the current executive editor at Riverhead, has been promoted to editor-in-chief of the Penguin imprint
She joined Riverhead in 2006. Among authors whose books she has acquired or edited are Meg Wolitzer, Khaled Hosseini, Chang-rae Lee and Anton DiSclafani, Margaret Talbot and Dana Goodyear.
Before joining Riverhead, McGrath served at both Scribner and Knopf.
