Frankfurt Book Fair 2022 touts the slogan, ‘Translate, Transfer, Transform.’
The world’s largest trade fair for books will be held from the 19th to the 23rd of October at the Messe Frankfurt. As the primary meeting point in the sector, the expo is expected to gather more than 7500 exhibitors and over 285 000 professional visitors.
Translation is the basis for the rights trade. The event has long been a stage where diverse cultures meet to do business. Transfer refers to subsidiary rights developments in multiple formats such as books to film and other venues. Transform embodies new ways of thinking about literature and its impact on world culture.
Registration for exhibitors ended March 31, 2022, for those booking stands, workstations, or tables in the Literary Agents and Scouts Center.
