Innovation Imprint
NEW YORK, NY/7/24/06—Sterling Publishing will launch a new imprint called Sterling Innovation in spring 2007. The new unit, to be headed by former Penguin publisher Carlo DeVito, will focus on titles that promote recognized consumer brands and appeal to impulse buying. Books will be released in hardcover, paperback and other formats which may include bundling with DVDs or CDs.
DeVito, who was founding publisher of Penguin’s Chamberlain Brothers imprint until last October, also formerly was with Running Press where he published miniature books.
