Aug 15 – Aug 22, 2010 Edition Literary Journal Calls for Submissions

Front Range, an internationally-circulated annual literary journal, is seeking submissions of high quality fiction, poetry and creative nonfiction now through November 7, 2010 for its 6th (2011) issue. Results will be reported by the end of December, and the selected submissions will be published the first week of March 2011.

Entrants are encourage to review a recent copy of the publication before submitting work. The publication likes stories about Montana and the Rocky Mountain West but will also consider work from to other places.

The Journal will publish up to 8 unpublished (preferably) poems, maximum 15 pages total, single or double-spaced, left justified; Short Fiction: Up to 3 unpublished (preferably) stories, not to exceed 4,000 words each, double-spaced, following standard conventions of paragraphing; and Nonfiction: Up to 3 unpublished (preferably) creative nonfiction pieces, not to exceed 4,000 words each, double-spaced, following standard conventions of paragraphing.

The journal also accepts Artwork:.JPEG files of paintings, drawings, or photography, each file saved with title of piece.

Front Range accepts electronic submissions only, as separate email attachments in .doc, .docx or .rtf format (no other formats).

Simultaneous submissions are accepted. All rights revert to author/artist upon publication. Payment in contributor copies.
