Results for Second Quarter

NEW YORK, NY/07/22/05—Viacom Inc. (NYSE: VIA – News and VIA.B – News) will report financial results for the second quarter 2005 on Thursday, August 4 after the market close. The Company, which owns the major publisher Simon & Schuster, will conduct a teleconference call at 4:30 p.m. (ET), following the release of its earnings announcement. The call is open to the general public.
