Farley will head up SwoopThat’s College Initiative to provide proprietary and state-of-the-art software designed to help on-campus stores increase revenues while strengthening their relationship with their student body.  The program helps bookstores become the retail hub for online as well as on-site business, thereby increasing bottom line earnings and improving price transparency for students.  With SwoopThat’s technology, stores can utilize detailed analytics to better understand their student body, enhance compliance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 through faculty textbook management tools, and increase their role within their college community. As former head of the consumer publishing division of Harcourt and most recently the president and publisher of Henry Holt & Co. and the Macmillan Children’s Publishing Group, Farley brings extensive industry experience along with a positive and productive track record for partnering with the various stakeholders who work to deliver content to end users.  Farley’s experience also includes senior positions at Little, Brown & Co, Simon & Schuster, and at Penguin.
