New Sales VP

NIAGARA FALLS, NY/7/11/08–Coutts Information Services, the leading international supplier of books and electronic content to libraries, has named Stephen Pugh Vice President Sales USA and Asia-Pacific. Coutts is part of Ingram Lightning Group Inc., an Ingram Content company.

Pugh has been a sales executive with Coutts since June 2007. He previously served as Senior Vice President, International Division/ Managing Director, Australia for YBP Library Services, managing sales development in the international academic library market.

He was appointed Coutts’ Vice President for international sales in June 2007, and he has overseen building the sales team to work with clients in Asia, Africa, Australia and New Zealand. He has advised on the acquisition of electronic content through the Coutts MyiLibrary aggregated eContent platform.

In this new role, he will continue to manage Asia Pacific, as well as take on management of Coutts’ sales in the United States, according to Andy Alferovs, Vice President for Global Sales.

Pugh is a member of the American Library Association, the Australian Library & Information Association, and the Library & Information Association of New Zealand Aotearoa.

He is a graduate of the University of California at Santa Cruz.
