Names New Editor

of Book Groups

NEW YORK, NY/04/12/05—Tami Booth has been promoted to editor-in-chief of Rodale Press’s newly-combined book group. In part, she replaces executive editor Stephanie Tade, who left the company after the restructuring to become an agent.

Booth formerly managed editorial for the women’s health group. Under the restructuring, the women’s health group, men’s health group, and general books have been merged as one unit with Booth at the helm. Jeremy Katz remains as executive editor of the men’s health group, which now operates as part of the larger group. Booth will report directly to Rodale president Steven Murphy.

Rodale, which reported a health 18 percent sales gain in 2004, has been a leading publisher of information on healthy, active lifestyles for more than 60 years. The company has offices in Emmaus, PA and New York City.
