No Word on Future

NEW YORK, NY/10/30/06—Diane Reverand, executive editor of the adult trade division at St. Martin’s Press since April 2002, is leaving the company, but no word as yet on her future plans. Her book projects will be reassigned to other editors.

Reverand has worked on numerous award-winning books in her job at St. Martin’s and earlier in her career as senior vice president of HarperCollins. At HC, Reverand’s list included six bestsellers by Dr. Laura Schlessinger, plus Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood by Rebecca Wells, and, Real Age by Dr. Michael Rozen. Authors at St. Martin’s have included self-help expert John Gray, Laurence Leamer; Thurber Award–winning humorist Bruce Cameron and Franz Wisner, Honeymoon with My Brother, a New York Times bestseller.

She was originally hired at St. Martin’s to help the house acquire big fiction and nonfiction.
