Family Memoir

NEW YORK, NY/3/6/08–Random House has acquired world rights to a memoir to be written by Norris Church Mailer, widow of the celebrated author Norman Mailer. David Ebershoff will edit the manuscript, which was John Taylor "Ike" Williams at Kneerim & Williams.

Church Mailer is Mailer’s sixth wife and was married to the Pulitzer prize winner for 32 years, until his death last November. The memoir will cover Ms. Mailer’s life with the author and their families. She has published two novels with Random House, Windchill Summer and Cheap Diamonds. The publication date has not yet been announced.
