On June 30, a New York State judge temporarily blocked publication of Mary L. Trump’s “harrowing” tell-all about her uncle, Donald Trump. But Simon and Schuster CEO Jonathan Karp said his company has already printed and shipped more than 75,000 copies of the work, titled Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man.

According to Forbes, Karp said it may be too late to stop circulation of the book which was shipped ahead of its planned July 28 publication date.

President Trump and his brother Robert Trump have argued that a signed NDA over the disputed will of the president’s father, Fred Trump Sr., should prevent the publication of a memoir containing “harrowing and salacious stories,” as well as the claim that Mary leaked confidential financial documents to The New York Times for its Pulitzer-winning 2018 investigation into Trump’s wealth.

The publisher noted that it just recently became aware of the NDA.

“We did not learn anything about Ms. Trump signing any agreement concerning her ability to speak about her litigation with her family until shortly after press broke concerning Ms. Trump’s Book about two weeks ago,” said Karp in the Tuesday night filing. “And we never saw any purported agreement until this action was filed against Ms. Trump and Simon & Schuster.”

The Trump family’s first attempt to block the book was dismissed last week, but New York State judge Hal Greenwald granted a temporary restraining order to Robert Trump on Tuesday, ruling that no copies should be published until a July 10 hearing between both sides over whether publication should be permanently shelved.

“Mary Trump spent much of her childhood in her grandparents’ large, imposing house in the heart of Queens, New York, where Donald and his four siblings grew up. She describes a nightmare of traumas, destructive relationships, and a tragic combination of neglect and abuse. She explains how specific events and general family patterns created the damaged man who currently occupies the Oval Office, including the strange and harmful relationship between Fred Trump and his two oldest sons, Fred Jr. and Donald.

“A firsthand witness to countless holiday meals and interactions, Mary brings an incisive wit and unexpected humor to sometimes grim, often confounding family events,”according to the publisher’s description.
