Conde Nast

to Publish Men’s

Vogue in 2006

NEW YORK, NY/10/12/05—Conde Nast Publications will launch Men’s Vogue in April 2006 with a special spring issue, it was announced by Charles H. Townsend, President and C.E.O. of Conde Nast Publications. The magazine will start publishing bi-monthly in fall 2006 and will increase its frequency to ten times a year in 2007. Jay Fielden has been named Editor-in-Chief, with Anna Wintour as Editorial Director. Thomas A. Florio has been named Publishing Director of Men’s Vogue, in addition to his position as Vice President and Publisher of Vogue. Men’s Vogue will launch with a cover price of $4.95 and rate base of 300,000.

“The first issue of Men’s Vogue was met with an overwhelming response by both readers and advertisers, and we believe there is a marketplace to be captured for a new sophisticated men’s magazine,” Townsend said. “Like Vogue, Men’s Vogue will attract an audience far beyond fashion covering fine arts, literature, and culture.”

The fall 2005 issue of Men’s Vogue is estimated to sell 150,000 copies on the newsstand and contained 164 advertising pages.

Conde Nast Publications, currently publishes twenty-eight magazines. The company includes, Fairchild Publications, Golf Digest Publications, Conde Nast Business Group, Conde Nast Media Group, CondeNet, and The Shared Services Centers.
