Acquires Integrity
Book Publishing
Nashville, TN/9/26/06Christian publisher Thomas Nelson, Inc. has acquired Integrity Publishers, the book publishing arm of Integrity Media. Terms of the deal, which was expected to culminate September 28, were not disclosed.
Nashville-based Integrity publishes best-selling authors Zig Ziglar, Max Lucado, Beth Moore, and Gary Smalley, among others. The company is a subsidiary of Mobile, Ala.-based Integrity Media, publisher and distributor of Christian music, videos books and other products.
Integrity Medias other divisions, including Integrity Music and INO Records, are not included in the sale and will continue to operate.
Nashville-based Thomas Nelson publishes and distributes products that emphasize Christian, inspirational and family value themes. This summer, the company was acquired by private equity firm InterMedia Partners LP through a deal valued at about $473 million that took the company private.
Integrity, with sales of about $16 million, has a backlist of 200 titles and has been publishing about 60 titles a year, in the adult, childrens and gift markets.
Hi. I’m trying to find a date a book I have was printed. It’s The Three Hostages by John Buchan printed by T. Nelson & Sons Ltd. it was written about 1924. It’s in good shape but no date is shown anywhere for when it was printed. On the spine is just the title, author and stylized TN&S. Any help would be appreciated.
