Small Chicago

Publisher Gives

New Writers a Chance

Chicago, IL/2/16/06—Lake Claremont Press, a tiny publisher based in the Chicago area, has recently grown to 21 titles with a steady sales record. An article by Thomas Frisbie in the Chicago Sun Times, says no one else is doing precisely what they are doing in Chicago. Frisbie’s article tells how founder Sharon Woodhouse founded the publication almost as an afterthought, and now aggressively markets her titles everywhere. The tiny press plans to publish six titles in 2006. Read the full story in the Chicago Sun Times.
