Simon & Schuster, GoSpoken
To Offer Titles on BlackBerry

NEW YORK/LONDON/Authorlink News/04/23/09–Simon & Schuster, Inc., a leading global publisher, has teamed with mobile ebook provider GoSpoken.com, to offer the publisher’s eBook titles on mobile devices in the US market. The titles are available in the recently launched Blackberry App World store via GoSpoken’s new downloadable eBook and audio books application.

Initial titles from Simon & Schuster include bestselling and newly-released titles such as Aravind Adiga’s Booker Prize-winner THE WHITE TIGER, Dan Brown’s mega-bestseller ANGELS & DEMONS, Doris Kearns Goodwin’s bestselling presidential history TEAM OF RIVALS, Daniel Gross’s DUMB MONEY, Mark Levin’s current #1 bestseller LIBERTY AND TYRANNY, and works by Vince Flynn,

Philippa Gregory, and Stephen King. More eBook and audio book titles will be made available in the coming weeks (the companies have already made eBooks and audio books available in the UK marketplace).

Users of the Blackberry App World store can find these and future Simon & Schuster titles in the Reference & eBooks category. This launch represents GoSpoken’s initial foray in the US market; the company currently offers more than 2,000 titles in either eBook or audio format in the UK, growing to 20,000 by the end of the year. GoSpoken’s goal is to supply the latest, bestselling eBooks and audio books to major mobile networks and manufacturers on a global basis.
