Penguin Adds
e-Book Titles
to OverDrive
NEW YORK, NY/9/4/08–OverDrive, Inc. distributor of audio and e-books to 7500 libraries, has added hundreds of titles from Penguin Group USA to its digital warehouse, which contains about 150,000 titles from a variety of publishers.
Penguin e-Books Marketing Director John Fagan said the move allows Penguin the opportunity to offer its expansive collection to more readers in the digital library market. Penguin titles are already available in Mobipocket PRC and Adobe PDF formats. Penguin will now add titles to the Overdrive warehouse every month.
Cleveland-based Overdrive distributes e-book titles for a number of major publishers including HarperCollins and Random House as well as music labels like Alligator Records.
