Millbrook Files
for Chapter 11
BROOKFIELD, CT/ 2/6/04—The Millbrook Press announced February 6 that it has filed for Chapter 11 after failing to find a buyer. The company published nonfiction hardcover and paperback titles targeting the consumer and the school and library markets, mainly for the children’s market.
CEO David Allen said in a brief statement that given the severe decline in the school and library market place, the management felt it is the best alternative for the employees, creditors and shareholders.
