Of BISAC
NEW YORK, NY/12/23/03—Wendell Lotz has been named chairman of the Book Industry Standards and Communications (BISAC) organization and vice chairman of the Book Industry Study Group (BISG).
Lotz, who had served as BISAC vice chairman and as chair of several committees, replaces Ed Ramsey, a former Random House executive who is now working in another industry.
Ed Ramsey, who was laid off this fall as Random House’s director, corporate application systems, has taken a job outside the industry and has resigned as chairman of Book Industry Standards and Communications (BISAC) and vice-chair of the Book Industry Study Group.
