Im thrilled that Kathy will be coming to Harper, says Michael Morrison, President and Group Publisher of the HarperMorrow division of the General Books Group. I personally experienced her incredible marketing savvy when we worked together at Random House, and Jonathan credits her with much of Miramaxs success. Kathys smarts, work ethic and humor will allow her to hit the ground running in this role.
Burnham concurs. Kathy is a phenomenal force: she combines formidable organizational skills with real marketing know-how. She and I worked together very closely for five years at Miramax Books, and I am looking forward to continuing our partnership in the larger context of Harper.
