Tami Booth Corwin has been promoted to the new post of president at Rodale Books where she will oversee all sales and marketing. She also remains the publications editor-in-chief. She also will be scouting for a new trade operations publisher to replace Amy Rhodes, who is leaving the company.
Rodale has been a leading publisher of information on healthy, active lifestyles for more than 60 years.
Putnam Marketing Head Leaving
NEW YORK, NY/06/13/05Dan Harvey, senior vice president of Putnam Publishing Group, is leaving the company at the end of June, 2005. He will remain in a consulting capacity through the end of the year. Putnam head Ivan Held said he is seeking someone to assume Harveys marketing and advertising role, but not as a publishing director.
Rippon to Depart HarperCollins Design
NEW YORK, NY/06/10/05Laurie Rippon is leaving as vice president and publisher of HarperCollins Design, after only a year in the post. Marta Schooler, who joined the company in 1999 and has served for six years as a consultant to the Design unit, will assume Rippons job. Rippon will stay on as an editor-at-large through July.
