Ingram Content Group Inc. today announced the launch of comprehensive content selection tools on its  ipage® search and order content platform, simplifying the search, selection and acquisition of materials for academic libraries worldwide.

A wide range of features have been added to the ipage platform, offered through Ingram Book Group Inc., to help academic libraries take full advantage of Ingram’s breadth of content. New features include search, filtering and content sorting options in addition to reviewing and managing new title notifications and print and e-book approval plans. Fast search results and intuitive navigation simplify the acquisition process. Other helpful tools include choices in batch title processing and forwarding and email options to stay connected with colleagues anywhere, with access to view actions taken on titles.

“Expanding the functionality of our ipage platform and making it a valuable and useful tool for academic libraries around the world has been a priority for us as Ingram continues to invest in and enhance our library services,” said Shawn Everson, Chief Commercial Officer, Ingram Content Group Inc. “We believe academic libraries will be able to improve their content selection and acquisition process with Ingram’s ipage platform.”

Academic libraries can prioritize critical information to search, order and deliver more content to more patrons. Libraries can develop and maintain an infinite number of title lists on the platform and can customize processes to work with any collection development and acquisition workflow.

With the integration of Ingram’s OASIS® platform for libraries into ipage now complete, Ingram will work collaboratively with customers to transition them to the integrated platform in phases through mid-2015.
