Year after year, participants of the Yale Publishing Course agree: Yale brings together the best of academia and industry to deliver a truly transformative experience for leaders in publishing. By blending core management instruction with insights from leading industry practitioners, the YPC is the most relevant career-development experience in the field.

Due to popular demand, this year’s course will add more Yale School of Management (SOM) faculty to the curriculum. Faculty teaching at YPC include Professor Amy Wrzesniewski, an expert on leadership, and Professor Rodrigo Canales, an expert on innovation.

“Yale SOM’s faculty expertise aligns well with the publishing industry,” noted Molly Nagler, Yale SOM’s Assistant Dean for Executive Programs. “Publishing is a complex, changing, global industry, where innovation is key—and it’s one that plays a hugely important role in our society. Our faculty are focused on bringing together multiple disciplines to understand that kind of complexity at the nexus of business and society, and we’re the most global U.S. business school.”

Joining the faculty are leaders of industry, including: Dick Stolley, Founding Editor of People, Former Managing Editor of Life, Former Editorial Director of Time Inc. and Leigh Marchant, Vice President and Director of Marketing, Random House, Spiegel & Grau.

Other speakers represent The Atlantic, NPR, Penguin Random House, Harvard Business Review Press, and over 20 more.
