FSG to Distribute

NEW YORK, NY/07/23/04Farrar Strauss & Giroux has agreed to handle U.S. distribution of graphic novels for Dawn & Quarterly in Montreal. The deal teams the esteemed literary publishing house with a well-known literary comics publisher, but both houses have similar publishing standards.
FSG parent company, Holtzbrinck, will assign its FSG sales team to begin selling the books to independent and regional booksellers in January 2005. In-house sales reps will sell to major accounts and certain New York City independent bookstores. In Canada, Drawn & Quarterly titles will continue to be distributed by Raincoast Books, and in the U.K. by Turnaround Publishing.
