David Naggar

to Leave RH

After 16 Years

NEW YORK, NY/10/19/07–David Naggar, who heads three divisions at Random House–the Audio & Diversified Publishing Group, Information Group, and Fodor’s Travel–will leave the company at the end of the year after 16 years of service. During his long tenure at Random House, he revitalized Fodor’s Travel and helped the company launch new online initiatives.

In announcing his departure, Jenny Frost, president and publisher of Crown Publishing Group to which Naggar reports, said he will not be easy to replace. Until a successor is found, publishers who reported to him will temporarily report directly to Frost.

Naggar said in a staff memo that he has simply decided to move on after 16 successful years with the company.
