May 30 – June 5, 2011 Edition BookExpo Attendance Down Slightly
NEW YORK, NY/AUTHORLINK NEWS/May 31, 2011–Attendance for the publishing industrys largest trade show, BookExpo America fell slightly this year from 21,919 in 2010 to 21,664 this year. The conference was held May 23-26 in New York Citys Jacob Javits Convention Center. When attendance for co-host BlogWorld was calculated into the numbers, however, attendance was up to a combined total of 23,067. Excluding exhibitors, attendees fell from 13,872 last year to a significant 13,028 this year.
