Book Industry Group Redesigns Web Site

NEW YORK, NY/AUTHORLINK NEWS/07/16/09–Publishers will soon have an easier way to access key industry research and standards when the Book Industry Study Group launches a new version of its web site, http://www.bisg.org. The launch will take place July 20.

The new site will feature a dramatic redesign and key enhancements including:

User-focused navigation and design Dynamic search functionality Convenient RSS feeds Interactive Calendar of Events Redesigned Members' Area Improved publication order processing

A spokesperson for the BISG said the new site is designed to move the publishing industry a step closer to being more informed, empowered and efficient.

The Book Industry Study Group, Inc. (BISG) is the U.S. book industry's leading trade association for research and supply chain standards and policies. Its member-driven organization represents all segments of the industry from publishers to booksellers, paper manufacturers, libraries, authors, printers, and wholesalers, as well as organizations concerned with the book industry as a whole.
