NEW YORK, NY/11/7/03Random House has confirmed layoffs of 24 technical people and five salespeople during recent months. The staff reductions came in both the main New York office and the distribution facility in Westminister, Md.
No additional layoffs are planned, according to Stuart Applebaum, Random House executive vice president of communications.
