McGraw-Hill to Report
First Quarter Results
in April 24 Webcast

NEW YORK, NY/4/10/07–The McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE: MHP) will release its first quarter 2007 financial results at 8:30 a.m. Eastern time Tuesday, April 24, 2007, just before the NYSE trading day begins. Senior management will be available by Webcast to discuss the company’s earnings with investors and other interested parties. Information about accessing the webcast can be found at McGraw-Hill’s Investor Relations site at http://www.mcgraw-hill.com/investor_relations.

At 8:30 AM Eastern Time, following the earnings announcement, the Corporation’s senior management will host a conference call to discuss the results. The call will be open to all interested parties and will also be available by Webcast. Discussions may include forward-looking information.
