Daytona Beach Shores, FL(April 6, 2009)–Capital Press has announced that jd Seamus’ first novel, Last Call, has been named a Foreword Magazine finalist for Book of the Year in the fiction category for 2008.

ForeWord Magazine’s Book of the Year Awards were established to bring increased attention to librarians and booksellers of the literary and graphic achievements of independent publishers and their authors. ForeWord Magazine is the only review trade journal devoted exclusively to books from independent houses.
