Results in Webcast

NEW YORK, NY/05/03/05—Barnes & Noble, Inc. (NYSE: BKS), the world’s largest bookseller, announced the company will report first quarter 2005 earnings results on Tuesday, May 17th, before the market opens. The company will host an investor conference call at 11:00 AM ET on Tuesday, May 17th, to review the company’s financial results and operations.
