S&S’s New CEO Reidy
Promotes Selleck, Eulau
To Her Management Team
NEW YORK, NY/10/02/07–Simon & Schuster’s incoming CEO Carolyn Reidy has created two two positions on her senior management team. Reidy, formerly president of the company’s adult trade division, will replace retiring CEO Jack Romanos, effective December 31. 2007. Working with her on her newly-appointed team will be Michael Selleck, promoted to executive vice president, sales and marketing; and Dennis Eulau, elevated to executive vice president of operations.
The move consolidates sales and marketing under Reidy’s direct management and eliminates Larry Norton’s role as president of the sales and distribution division. Norton will leave the company at the end of the year.
Sellick, with the company since 1984, will now be the chief marketing strategist for all S&S domestic units and will oversee distribution for Canada and Australia.
Eulau formerly was vice president and general manager of the trade division.
Simon & Schuster, part of the CBS Corporation, is a global leader in the field of general interest publishing.
