Unit Realigns
Sales Force
NEW YORK, NY/1/29/08–Random House Adult Trade Group has realigned its sales force under the new leadership of senior vice president Jaci Updike, who assumed the post earlier this month. Two senior members of the group will be leaving the company: Marty McGrath, deputy director, whose post has been eliminated; and Bill Huelster, who had headed proprietary sales.
Al Greco has been promoted to the new position of vice president-director adult retail sales, managing sales to major bookstore chains and foreign markets. Tom Cox has been elevated to vice president-mass merchandiser and distributor sales, handling wholesalers, mass merchants and warehouse clubs. Paul Kozlowski will take the newly-created position of vice president, director-sales marketing. Kozlowski’s former job as vice president, director of adult field sales, will be filled by Glenn Ellis. Christian Waters becomes vice president-director sales planning.
Updike was promoted only a week or so ago from vice president to senior vice president of adult sales.
