NY Booksellers
to Create New
Indy Organization
NEW YORK,NY/7/10/08–A consortium of 20 independent New York City bookstores has now officially formed under the name Independent Booksellers of New York City. The group met June 26 for the second time, and voted to call themselves by that name. The group is in the process of developing a logo, website, and a map pinpointing all independent bookstores in the City. The founding stores have pledged seed money for the projects.
