Feb 7 – Feb 13, 2011 Edition Harpo, Inc. Selects ABRAMS to Publish Oprah Book
NEW YORK, Feb. 7, 2011 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Harpo, Inc., owners of the award-winning The Oprah Winfrey Show, and ABRAMS, the preeminent publisher of illustrated books, announced today that a book celebrating The Oprah Winfrey Show will be published by ABRAMS in the fall of 2011, following the conclusion of the show’s twenty-fifth and final season. ABRAMS CEO and President Michael Jacobs and Editorial Director Deborah Aaronson worked together with Erik Logan, President of Harpo, Inc., to create the publishing deal.

All of Harpo, Inc.’s proceeds from the publishing of this book will benefit The Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy Foundation.
