To Publish New Book

NEW YORK, NY/10/30/07–Random House executive editor Susan Mercandetti has bought world rights to Lee Woodruff’s second book of non-fiction, a wry and witty exploration into motherhood, family and the complications of husband-wife dynamics. Her first book, New York Times #1 best seller In an Instant, co-authored with her husband, ABC anchor Bob Woodruff, was critically acclaimed for the compelling and remarkable chronicle of her family’s journey to recovery following his roadside bomb injury in Iraq.
Lee has recently joined ABC’s "Good Morning America" as a contributor on a variety of home and family related topics. Since the publication of In An Instant in February 2007, the couple have been appearing around the country to help focus attention on the serious issue of traumatic brain injury among returning Iraq war veterans. Bob Barnett of Williams and Connelly was the agent.
