New Storylink Enables
Member Writers to Earn
Daily Story Royalties
DALLAS, TX/11/16/2006Authorlink.com, among the longest running and most popular Internet communities for writing and publishing, has launched an innovative feature called STORYLINK where member authors post short stories free and earn royalties every time a reader downloads a story.
Writers post their first three stories FREE with membership in the Storylink section of the site. The site is open to short stories in a wide range of categories, including womens fiction, romance, thrillers, suspense, childrens stories, humor, and others. Each story can be up to 5,000 words. Those with novels they want to promote can also upload an excerpt of their book on the site and also earn download royalties, though the real focus is to celebrate the short story.
Verified royalties are paid to the author via his or her Paypal account on a daily basis. Royalties for those who dont have a Paypal account receive royalties quarterly by mail. Writers can invite their friends, family and fans to read summaries of their stories for FREE, and then download the full story for 99 cents. Each time the reader pays to download a story, the writer earns 40% of the sale.
Readers can easily search by author, title, subject, and view any story summary FREE to decide what items they want to buy. Once a story is purchased, the reader has access to it forever.
Its a great way for readers to let writers know they like and support their work, in a wide range of categories from Womens fiction, romance, thrillers, suspense, childrens stories, humor and more. And the writer gets paid, too!
Readers can leave private comments for authors after reading stories. Writers can manage their account through MY ACCOUNT and monitor each storys progress.
