NEW YORK, NY/11/7/05—Heather Jackson has been named executive editor at Crown/Random House, after a stint at Rodale.

Disney Names Bubbosh Executive Editor

LONDON/11/6/05—Lola Bubbosh, former Miramax executive, has been named executive editor of both publishing and films for Disney Publishing. She will acquire manuscripts for book publication and will also identify projects to be developed as feature films. Bubbosh will report to Disney Book Group editor­in-chief Brenda Bowen and will be based in London. Warner Taps Howry to Head Springboard Imprint

NEW YORK, NY/11/5/05—Michelle Howry has been named senior editor of Time Warner’s new lifestyle imprint Springboard. She joins Warner from Perigee where she also was a senior editor.

Knight Joins Holt as Adult Trade Editor

NEW YORK, NY/11/5/05—Sarah Knight, formerly at Scribner, has joined Henry Holt as adult trade editor.

Jane Magazine Gets New Publisher, Editor

NEW YORK, NY/11/8/05—Carlos Lamadrid has been named vice president and publisher of Jane magazine, a unit of Fairchild Publications owned by Condé Nast. Lamadrid, who formerly served as publisher of Wenner Media’s Men’s Journal, replaces Mark Oltarsh who left Jane last month. Lamadrid assumed his new post on November 7.

Brandon Holley, founding editor of Hachette Filipacchi Media’s ElleGirl, is the new editor-in-chief at Jane.

Endeavor Motion Picture/Film Agency Promotes Three Agents

LOS ANGELES, CA/11/6/05—Endeavor, the Bervery Hills-based motion picture literary agency, has promoted agents Chris Donnelly, Greg Hodes and Modi Wiczyk as full partners. The promotions for motion picture literary agent Donnelly, television agent Hodes and international finance and independent film agent Wiczyk were announced at a company staff meeting held by Endeavor founding partners are David Greenblatt and Tom Strickler.

Donnelly’s clients include filmmakers Martin Scorsese, Michael Winterbottom and John Polson. Hodes’ clients include writer-producers Seth MacFarlane (Fox’s “Family Guy”), Josh Schwartz (Fox’s “The O.C.”), Eric Kripke (WB Network’s “Supernatural”), Al Jean (Fox’s “The Simpsons”) and John Altschuler and Dave Krinsky (Fox’s “King of the Hill”). Projects in which he has been involved at Endeavor include Michael Moore’s “Fahrenheit 9/11” and his upcoming “Sicko” as well as Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s “21 Grams” and upcoming “Babel.”
