Huge Online Promo

For Frenay’s Novel

NEW YORK, NY/4/10/06—Farrar, Strauss and Giroux this week launched a huge online effort for the release of Robert Frenay’s Pulse. The promotion includes the simultaneous release of the book in both print and online editions and is being distributed and promoted via RSS feeds, e-mails and in online excerpts at www.pulsethebook.com. The printed book simultaneously went on sale in bookstores.

Online snippets, including links to many of Frenay’s research sources, will be released twice daily on weekdays, concluding in November.

FSG hopes the unprecedented online book promotion will appeal to bloggers and other online visitors and will drive people to bookstores to buy the printed edition.
