The Religion Communicators Council, a national association of faith-based communicators, is accepting entries for the 2015 Wilbur Awards, which promote and encourage excellence in the communication of religious faith. The Wilburs recognize the secular work of individuals, media outlets and agencies as they cover religious issues, values and themes, with professionalism, fairness and honesty. Entry deadline is Feb. 4, 2015.

Competition is judged by media professionals in a jury process. The basic criteria of content, creativity, execution and results, apply in the evaluation of each entry. The ultimate criterion is excellence in the communication of religious values. Previous winners include the Bill Moyers, the Dallas Morning News, CBS Sunday Morning, Tapestry on CBC, Mitch Albom, The Christian Science Monitor, and many others.
