Vicki Bohlsen, President and owner of Bohlsen Group, is a seasoned and award-winning public relations consultant with more than 30 years’ experience. Vicki Bohlsen had a successful career with some major brands as an employee and a freelancer before she began one of Indianapolis’ largest full-service integrated communications firms. Her more than 30 years’ experience in broadcasting, public relations, and strategic marketing has afforded her the chance to work with countless organizations to ensure that their communications efforts further their organizational goals.
Vicki’s communications career began in New York City at CBS Television Network. She then helped launch the Radio Live Events division of Medialink, producing satellite media tours for such national clients as Pfizer, New Line Cinema, Miramax, and The Disney Channel.
Back home in Indiana, Vicki traveled the state as special projects producer for WTHR-TV and directed PR for The Promotion Company. Her freelance clients included Heartland Film Festival, Indianapolis 500 Festival, Brickyard 400 Festival, “Menopause the Musical,” American Cabaret Theatre, Spirit & Place Festival, Riley Children’s Foundation, and many others.
